"The first tenant on [Knowle Village Business Park] has now completed their lease and is due to move in shortly. While building work has not yet reached completion, there has been a keen interest in the site and we anticipate an early uptake on all the units.

The development of the site has not been without its problems, both in relation to the countryside environment in which it is situated and the conditions on the site but your designs have overcome any obstacles or objections and have created a business park of some merit.

"Faced with the daunting task of updating and providing a "wow" factor to a 1960s style school reception and entrance on a fairly plain school build, we sought the expertise of Mr Paul Edwards. Where previous attempts by others to overcome some difficult design problems had failed, Paul's were a total success.

He saw his designs through the planning and building stage and a builder was engaged by us. When deviations from specifications were made Paul was on hand to ensure that advice on planning and building regulations was available and put the works back on the right track. Once the new build extension was complete he was an enormous help in sorting out the variations and their impact on the finances.

The school's attractive new reception entrance extension blends in well with the surrounding area and provides both the school and children with a real focal point entrance in the School. Paul really achieved the expectations of the school with the required "wow" factor.

"We are a large law firm with a significant practise in clinical negligence and personal injury. Our case work involves catastrophic injuries affecting clients, which means that they often have special accommodation needs. As part of the claim it may be necessary to purchase and adapt a property so that it is suitable for a wheelchair dependant client or for clients with other disabilitiies.

We would like to express our gratitude for the work by Mr Paul Edwards of Town & Country Architecture. He took on a complex project for us dealing with a familty of four with a severely disabled child. The family were settled in the area and needed suitable accommodation adapting for them. The local area has a distinct character in keeping with a conservation area. Careful and sensitive handling was required for the family's needs, particularly the disabled child's needs and also to balance this with achieving suitable pleasant accommodation appropriate for the local area and which would be accepted by the planning authorities.

Through Mr Edwards' work an excellent scheme has been developed. Of note is that he provided a fixed quote which was reasonable and which was divided into logical stages. He has kept us informed at every stage and kept within the budget allocated for his work. I believe that because of Mr Edwards' careful work and preparations planning permission was granted very smoothly. The tender process for building has been very effective and the works are now due to be completed.

At all stages Mr Edwards has worked closely with the clients and kept us fully informed. He has anticipated any obstacles to progress and dealt with these most effectively.
